Some teams may have visited only some of the reentrants, but who cares, so in no particular order: Karen Vines, Tim Wiegand & John Quayle this team did well Ruh Hambleton, Rik Pearson & Elliot Norton 1st Pauline Sinclair, Steve Fisher & Martin Potter this team finished later on Mark Ware, Lucy Wilson & Dan Marston a middlingly good team Gael Lambin, Loz Colyer & Nick Barrable 3rd from last Alex Harding, Jemmi Adams & Ben Reynolds this team definitely retired Tony Covey-Crump (h), Lucy Partridge & Dave Phillips next to last Chris Marsh, Adam Poulson & Jon Skittrall (h) later rather than sooner Johnathan Pratt, Jon Marsden & Jon de Main 2nd Emma Smith, Jake Sharpe (h) & Rob Hart last Kate Bridger, Andy Varley & Paul Warren sooner rather than later Rob Marsh, Jo Scott & Tim Lenton streets ahead of everyone else but probably non-competitive where (h) indicates a competitor in the hangover handicap. Organiser's Comments: Long long ago in a far off land there lived a varsity match and here are some results before it's too late. Thank you all for coming such a long way in such great numbers to make the event the stoat it surely was. All the interesting areas in our home regions had problems with permission at short notice and so the Lake District provided and excellent alternative. Loughrigg was quite a contrast to the British the following weekend in both terrain and wetaher but it was an easy area on which to devise courses, especially after we left the product of our weekend's planning in the car park. Great Tower is just a peach. People to cherish: the nice men and women of MDOC for their equipment and advice; Sheila Hobson of LOC for soring out the areas; Martin Bagness for having some maps of Loughrigg when we ran out on the Friday; Rob for some delicious food at the social; Paul, Keena, Dave, Mike and everyone else who helped on the weekend; thos who don't mind that I've horribly misspelt their names. People to spurn: the silent masses of JOK who stayed home and let the Tabs win their trophy again. Hoorah! Nigel Wright & Jo Scott (JOK)
