It is with great regret that we have to inform you that the BUCS Orienteering Championships have been cancelled, following the temporary suspension of all BUCS activity in their latest policy on Covid19 (statement found here). Although this suspension is currently until 1st April, we expect to see many further cancellations over the rest of the season. With this in mind, we have had to make the decision to cancel rather than postpone the championships, as there is too much uncertainty over the future. We are deeply sorry for those of you who were looking forward to the weekend (as were we), but we believe it is the right decision in this situation for the health and safety of all involved.
All participants should have received an email regarding refunds. Helpers will also be personally informed.
We are sorry to have to take this action and hope you all stay fit and healthy over the coming weeks.
